Norwich City Considering Move For Nigerian Winger
Norwich City are among a host of clubs that are keen on a move for Kongsvinger IL Nigerian winger Daniel Job, according to Sacha Tavolieri (via the72.co.uk).
Norwich City have had a strong window so far with Philippe Clement making the most of his first real chance to make his mark on the squad.
The club are looking to make some more additions in attack, and are once again looking at some talent from across the continent. After the injury to Ali Ahmed in pre-season, the Canaries are after a new winger. Kongsvinger IL winger Daniel Job is on their radar.
Job is valued at €4m+addons by his current side after the 20-year-old enjoyed a breakout year with the club. Serie A side Lecce have made a move to sign Job, having a bid of €3m rejected.
Norwich City are among a host of clubs that are keen on the winger as well as Lecce. RB Salzburg, FC Basel, AIK are all also interested in the 20-year-old.

Job came through the Future Pro youth setup in Nigeria before joining Norwegian Eliteserien side Sarpsborg 08 on loan in March 2024, with an option to buy. He initially featured for Sarpsborg 08 2 in the Norwegian Third Division, scoring eight goals in 13 appearances.
Sarpsborg exercised their option to sign him permanently in July 2024, handing him a contract until the end of 2028. He made his Eliteserien debut on 20 July 2024 and scored his first top-flight goal on his first start against Haugesund in August.
Seeking more regular first-team football, Job joined Egersund on loan for the first half of the 2025 season. He made 12 league appearances and scored three goals, while also contributing in cup competition.
In February 2026, he moved to Kongsvinger IL in a deal involving Sarpsborg. The forward has since established himself as a key player for Kongsvinger in the 2026 OBOS-ligaen campaign, producing a strong return of goals and assists while regularly featuring from the start.
His performances earned further recognition when he was voted Kongsvinger’s player of the month for June/July 2026 by supporters. He subsequently donated the prize money to a children’s cancer charity, only increasing his popularity.
