Liverpool Table €115M Bid For Barcola, Maintain Interest In Mbaye
Liverpool have reportedly tabled a €115 million offer to Paris Saint-Germain for winger Bradley Barcola as they aim to strengthen their squad before the end of the summer transfer window.
Liverpool Keen On Barcola And Mbaye
Liverpool want Barcola to be their new first-choice left winger, and they are also looking to bring in his teammate Ibrahim Mbaye to help bolster their right-wing options with the Reds believed to have an agreement on personal terms with both players.
According to French outlet Foot01, the Merseyside club improved their bid for Barcola to €135 million (£115 million), after initially proposing €100 million (£86 million) earlier in the window.
However, TEAMtalk reports that Liverpool’s most recent formal offer for Barcola is €115 million/£98 million, not the €135 million/£115 million claimed by Foot01.
PSG Want Record-Breaking Offer For Barcola
PSG opened talks by requesting £145 million for the France international. However, they have since reduced his price tag to £125 million.
Liverpool are willing to go as high as £120m to sign Barcola. The two clubs are moving closer in their negotiations, but there is still work to be done before the deal is sealed.
TEAMtalk adds that PSG dropped Barcola and Mbaye from their recent matches against Aston Villa and RC Lens.

Barcola and Mbaye both want to leave PSG for the Premier League giants to get more playing time.
Ahead of PSG’s Trophee des Champions defeat to Lens on Sunday, manager Luis Enrique was questioned over players who could leave Parc des Princes.
In a telling admission, Enrique said: “We are a very young, very ambitious team.
“It is important for us to make changes and look for players who enjoy playing our way and who love playing for PSG.
“That is very clear to us.
“When a player doesn’t want to come here, or doesn’t have a smile on their face about being here, it is better to find another solution.”
Liverpool Hope To Leave Disappointing Season Behind
Liverpool are aiming to put their dismal 2025/26 campaign behind them, with Andoni Iraola set to lead a new dawn at Anfield following the sacking of Arne Slot after leading them to a fifth-place finish in the Premier League whilst going trophy-less.
The Reds will kick off their 2026/27 season with an away clash against Newcastle United – a side they defeated home and away last term.
