The Grand Patron of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has deployed 52 campaign vehicles to Ondo and Gombe States to support grassroots mobilisation for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.

The vehicles, 26 each for the two states, were presented on Tuesday during the inauguration of local government coordinators of the movement in Akure, Ondo State, and Gombe, the respective state capitals.

According to a statement issued by the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement Media Unit in Abuja, Tompolo said the vehicles would strengthen the movement’s grassroots campaign by enabling its coordinators to reach communities and mobilise support for Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general election.

Represented at the events by the Managing Director of Tantita Security Services Limited, Kestin Pondi, Tompolo urged the newly inaugurated coordinators to take the President’s message to voters across the two states.

He charged them to mobilise voters through door-to-door engagements covering communities, local government areas, religious institutions and other public spaces.

Speaking in Akure, Pondi, on behalf of Tompolo, urged the coordinators to translate the movement’s registered membership into electoral support for the President.

“Become ambassadors and translate the two million registered voters into votes,” he said.

He added: “We are inaugurating local government and ward coordinators today with 26 vehicles to reach every nook and cranny, and creeks to hear the PBAT story.”

Pondi also listed what he described as achievements of the Tinubu administration, urging the coordinators to communicate them to voters during their mobilisation activities.

“The President is the son of the South-West, and he is doing well. Today, we no longer have fuel queues; we no longer have ASUU strike; salaries and pensions are being paid. Preach it everywhere. I urge you to encourage the President with your votes in 2027,” he said.

At the Gombe event, Pondi said the vehicles and other campaign materials were provided to facilitate the inauguration and operations of the movement’s state chapter.

“Your Excellency, today we came into Gombe to inaugurate the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement chapter of Gombe State and also to bring vehicles that will support the message,” he said.

The two governors, Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State and Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State, commended Tompolo and the movement for providing the vehicles and other campaign materials to support their mobilisation activities.

In Akure, Aiyedatiwa declared his support for Tinubu’s re-election bid, saying the vehicles would improve the movement’s capacity to reach voters across Ondo State.

“Ondo State is for Asiwaju. That’s where we stand. So, let me thank the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement for the donation of these vehicles that would ease mobility and ensure that our coordinators reach every part of this state,” he said.

Yahaya, in his remarks in Gombe, also expressed support for the President’s re-election campaign and highlighted his administration’s agricultural development programme.

He disclosed that the state was implementing an agricultural initiative targeting farmers, herders, processors and young people engaged in agricultural activities, with support from a N130 billion grant approved by Tinubu.

The National Coordinator of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, Sunday Asuku, also called on residents of both states to support the President, describing his administration as committed to development across the country’s six geopolitical zones.

Asuku cited the establishment of development commissions for different regions and the restoration of financial autonomy for local governments as measures he said demonstrated Tinubu’s commitment to inclusive governance.

He urged voters not to be swayed by opposition parties and called on residents of Gombe State to support Tinubu for a second term.

The deployment of the 52 vehicles comes as political groups supporting the President intensify grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general election, with the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement seeking to expand its reach through local government and ward coordinators.

The movement said the vehicles would facilitate its door-to-door campaign strategy and enable its coordinators to take their message to communities across Ondo and Gombe States.
