The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has described it’s former National Chairman and candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) Sen. Victor Umeh as a fair weather opportunist whose stuck in trade is tagging on issues at the moment for who fate accomplish.
The party also dismissed claims by Umeh that Soludo in envious of the Presidential candidate of the NDC Mr Peter Obi retorting that Obi is envious of Soludo instead.
The party which spoke under the umbrella of APGA Media Warriors led by Evangelist Chinedu Obidigwe was responding to a recent Television interview granted by Umeh .
“Our self acclaimed Saint Peter Obi has nothing in this life that will make Governor Soludo to start envying him”
“As a matter of fact and from the best of my knowledge Peter Obi is actually the person envious of Governor Soludo and affraid of him as a destined shining star”
“We remember vividly that in 2010 that Governor Soludo contested against Peter Obi, the gossip that was allegedly manufactured against Soludo to curry political favour and advantage from the then President Goodluck Jonathan was that if Soludo becomes Governor that he will contest the 2011 Presidential election against him”
They used this fabricated tissue of lies to win over President Jonathan and he gave him Federal might to win that 2010 re election.
“Knowing this, even if am sleeping, I will say it boldly that Peter is more envious and jealous of Soludo”
“As a matter of fact, the fear of Governor Soludo is the begining of Peter Obi’s wisdom”
The anger of Victor Umeh against Soludo is because he is a beneficiary of the politicallly packaged fraud”
“Deep down Victor Umeh heart he knows that his Presentail candidate is going nowhere but because he is scheming on how to benefit again from the politically packaged fraud called Peter Obi , he is turning truth upside down”
Obigwe stated that only offence of Governor Soludo against Victor Umeh was that he told him in 2022 to subject himself to APGA primary election process for the last 2023 general elecrion.
Umeh went for that primary and lost to Dozie Nwankwo.
“His lost of that primary made him to go and reach a deal of joining Labour Party with Peter Obi”
“Funny enough, when they moved to NDC, Victor Umeh lost NDC primary election to Nwabueze Oli but Peter Obi that claims to be a true democrat supported their party leadership denial of Nwabueze Oli the NDC ticket in favour of Victor Umeh that he defeated in their primary election”
“What Peter Obi did for Victor Umeh against Nwabueze Oli was what Victor Umeh expected Governor Soludo to do for him in 2022 against Dozie Nwankwo but Soludo rejected doing that as a true democrat”
” I will not forget to remind my us all that this same Victor Umeh referred to Peter Obi as a pathological liar in the past under Fmr Gov Obiano’s regime”
“He even went as far as claiming that he taught Peter Obi politics”
He urged the general public to ignore what he called inconsistencies of Umeh accusing him of speaking from both sides of the mouth.
