France Football, the organisers of the Ballon d’Or, have revealed which African countries voted for Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane, Real Madrid's Kylian Mbappe and Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal.

During the 2026 Ballon d’Or voting, journalists from eligible African countries split their first-place votes among the award’s leading contenders.

Recall that Kane beat Mbappe and Lamine to win the 2026 Ballon d'Or, at a ceremony in London a few days ago.

However, Senegal, Angola, South Africa, and Uganda were the only African countries to vote for Kane.
