The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has explained how candidates who have raised complaints through its online support platform can access their existing support tickets.

The examination body gave the explanation in an explainer video on Thursday, outlining five steps candidates can follow to view tickets they have previously created.

According to JAMB, candidates who have submitted complaints do not need to raise a new ticket to check the status of an existing complaint.

The board said candidates should first visit its support website, support.jamb.gov.ng, to access the platform.

The first step, according to JAMB, is to visit the website and proceed to the support section.

Candidates using mobile phones are required to select “Ticket/Support” from the menu list.

JAMB explained that after selecting “Ticket/Support”, candidates should choose the “Access Existing Ticket” option.

The board said candidates would then be required to provide the email address linked to their JAMB e-Facility profile.

Candidates are also expected to enter any of their ticket IDs in the space provided below the email field.

JAMB said that after entering the required details, candidates should submit the request.

The board explained that the submitted information would allow candidates to access their existing ticket, after which they should click on the ticket ID displayed in blue to open it.

The five steps outlined by JAMB are:

1. Visit support.jamb.gov.ng.
2. Select “Ticket/Support” from the menu, particularly when using a mobile phone.
3. Select “Access Existing Ticket”.
4. Enter the email address linked to the JAMB e-Facility profile and any ticket ID.
5. Submit the details and click on the ticket ID displayed in blue to open the ticket.
