Nollywood actress Adunni Ade loses mother

Nigerian actress, Adunni Adewale, popularly known as Adunni Ade, has announced the death of her mother.

The actress' mother died on 18 October 2026 after a prolonged battle with an undisclosed illness.

Announcing the news in a lengthy Instagram post on Monday, Adunni described her mother's death as a painful loss.

"With a heavy heart and submission to the will of Almighty Allah, I announce the passing of my beloved mother, who returned to her Creator after a long battle with illness.

"Details of the funeral arrangements will be communicated in due course," she posted.

DAILY POST reports that the Nigerian- American actress was born in New York to a Yoruba Nigerian father and a German-Irish mother.
