Sen Nakudu Mourns Amaechi’s Mother, Extends Heartfelt Condolences

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) Governorship candidate in Jigawa State, Senator Sabo Mohammed Nakudu has extended his heartfelt condolences to the party’s Vice Presidential candidate, Rotimi Amaechi, following the passing of his mother, Mrs Mary Amaechi, who died peacefully on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at the age of 89.

In a condolence message issued on Friday, Senator Nakudu described the late Mrs Amaechi as a virtuous matriarch, respected community leader and devoted Christian whose life embodied faith, compassion and selfless service.

He noted that her enduring legacy of love, unity and integrity would continue to inspire generations.

The ADC governorship flag bearer prayed for the peaceful repose of her soul and asked Almighty God to grant Mr Amaechi, the Amaechi family and loved ones the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
