U-20 WWC: Falconets Line Up Poland, Korea Friendlies

Nigeria’s Falconets will take on Poland and Korea Republic in friendly matches as part of their preparations for the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.

Moses Aduku’s side are currently in camp in Abuja, where they are stepping up preparations for the biennial competition.

The Falconets are expected to depart for Poland on Monday, 24 August, for the final phase of their preparations.

The two friendly encounters will provide Aduku with an opportunity to fine-tune his team’s strategies ahead of the World Cup.

Nigeria have been drawn in Group F alongside Spain, China and New Caledonia.

The Falconets will begin their campaign against Spain at the Arena Sosnowiec on Monday, 7 September.

Aduku’s side will also face China at the same venue three days later.

Nigeria will round off their group-stage campaign against New Caledonia at the Stadion Miejski ŁKS on Sunday, 13 September.
