‘I Want To Finish High’ — Durosinmi Eyes Big Season At Genk
Super Eagles striker Rafiu Durosinmi has set his sights on finishing as the top scorer in the Belgian Pro League this season.
Durosinmi opened the scoring for Genk in their clash with Zulte Waregem on Sunday, but the hosts fought back to secure a 2-1 victory on the opening day of the season.
Despite Genk’s defeat, the Nigeria international produced an impressive individual display and was named Man of the Match.
The striker is now hoping to follow in the footsteps of compatriots Paul Onuachu and Tolu Arokodare by finishing the campaign as the Belgian Pro League’s leading marksman.

“I want to score, I want to finish high in the standings, and I also want to go for the top scorer title. I have always dreamed of that,” Durosinmi told DAZN.
Durosinmi admitted that the defeat took some of the shine off his Man of the Match award.
“Of course I would have preferred to win, because then this would have been a great moment to celebrate,” he added.
The Smurfs will host Westerlo in their next league game at the Cegeka Arena on Saturday.
